The Cute Cosper Couple at the Masquerade Ball
Last weekend Casey and I went to a Christmas Masquerade Ball. We thought that it would be fun to make our masks which was a lot of fun. Casey was very creative and went all out with his mask made of leaves, holly berries and gold berries. He also added some fur lining to the inside of his mask to make it comfortable...funny and cleaver too! I made mine with leaves and berries on one side and Christmas wrapping on the other half--compe with bow and tage (To: Casey From: Santa). We took a few hours making them and had a lot of fun! The ball had a live jazz band, photographer and refreshments. It was kind of hard to dance with masks on, but it was an adventure. They also had prize drawings throughout the night and Casey won a $20 gift card to a local steakhouse! We were very excited about that. I will have to take pictures of our Christmas decorations and post them later, but this is all for now.

Another Job Interview...Nebraska

Hey Fam,
I will be interviewing in Broken Bow, Nebraska on Wednesday the 17th for a Project Engineer position with BD Medical. We will be leaving on Tuesday, interviewing on Wednesday and then off to Tuttle, North Dakota for Christmas "vacation". Vacation is in quotes because the last 7 months have been a sort of extended vacation. Keep us in your prayers...especially on Wednesday. Too bad we won't be able to make it to the Jones family Christmas party. We were going to have some awesome talents that will have to wait until next year.

Also, I thought I would throw in a cute little video clip of Cassee. She is in the "Terrible Twos" stage but I happened to get a couple clips of Cassee being cute!

Happy Holidays.

Attack on the Gingerbread House!!

Jack had a primary class Christmas party where they decorated houses. This is Jack enjoying it then attacking it. By the way Holly turned 10 on Tuesday! Jack had a birthday party that day as well and will be turning 5 tomorrow on the 12th. Hope you all still have the 20th on your calendar. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Family:

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Well the Alpine Cospers came to visit us up here in Rexburg, and everything turned out pretty well. Casey and I cooked our first turkey and I tried out a few desserts from my Taste of Home magazine! (Notice how the turkey and pie look just like the pictures in the magazine hehe) Here are some pictures from the festivities.

The girls had their last horse riding lesson for the year last Friday. Sydney said her favorite part was getting to ride through the river. (I'm thinking it was a small creek) Holly's favorite part was cleaning and taking care of the horses. They had a lot of fun.

Dan's Interviews

Here is a map of all the places I have had a face to face interview. You can zoom in and out like a normal google map and click on the dots to see more info.

By the way...I did get a job offer today finally! It is with Watson Pharmaceutical near the UofU. It is a 6 month contract job. I am still waiting to hear back from one company from Salt Lake that I interviewed at yesterday and I am still going to North Dakota for an interview. Hopefully I will be able to have a couple offers to choose from.

Fun at the Bean museum

We went to the Bean Museum at BYU today with Lyndsi's preschool pals. They got to touch a real live turtle, snake and lizard. Lyndsi and Hailey loved it. We went to the park afterwards and had lunch. The ducks were so friendly they were going right under the table to eat the crumbs and there was a mom duck with 5 baby ducks that were so cute and they sounded like squeaky toys.
I learned how to make cute curly hair bows and the girls looked so cute. If anyone wants me to make them for you just give me the ribbon you want to make it out of and I can do the rest. It is so easy and so super cute I will take pictures and post them sometime soon. We could even make them together if you want cause it's always more fun.
Jerome likes his work so far and I am doing a MK open house I'll let you know how things turn out after this weekend. :)
That is my update.
Loved Sydney's costum too!

Sixth grade fun

Sydney had her Temples and Tombs program last night. All of the sixth graders put on a little show about the things they have learned while talking about the Egyptians, mummies and King Tut. It was pretty cute. No I didn't make the costume luckily she's not the first 6th grader in our neighborhood to do this.

From an email Leesa got

I thought this water fountain was pretty cool. Leesa got it in an email the other day. Also, I wanted to test out posting video on the blog...we need to make more family home videos!

To Post or Not to Post...That is the Question....Choose to Post!

Dear Family-
I think that you all need to post something! I often check the family blog, but there is nothing to look at if you don't post events and such that are happening down there in Utah. Post pictures or anything so that some of us...(who are in another state) will know what is going on. I will try to remember to post a picture of the craft I made the other night at enrichment. Anyways...I hope all is well, and Casey and I are getting really excited to come visit in December. Look out Utah here we come!!!!haha

The 100th Blog!

Laura, I'm sorry but you are actually post #101. The Ryan Family was post #100 and wins the prize! For those of you who don't know what I am talking about I sent out an email to every family...except Julia (I just checked the email and somehow I forgot to send it to Julia, However, she has been very good at posting at the Kitchen Sink!). Julia, if you post the 115th then you get a prize too.

Thanks for posting everyone! October was a record month with 26 posts. November already has 8 including this one and it is only the 10th of the month. For those of you who have your own "family blog" and don't want to have to post twice I think there is a way to feed your post to the Kitchen Sink....will someone figure that out - maybe Julia or Dorothy who seem to be expert bloggers.

Thanks,
Dan Jones

Take Our Poll!!!!!!!!

Hey Family-
Take our poll on the Couple of Cospers blog. Then if you want to you could post why we should go to the school you have selected.

New Job

I am making the 100th post hurray for me. Jerome starts his new job with Consult Net tomorrow. We are excited! Omniture might still offer us a job in December we will see what happens with that.
We had a fabulous Halloween week and I think we should be finishing up the candy this week maybe today. I think we did a good job extending the life of our candy.
We had fun playing with cousins at Sydney's birthday party. Happy Birthday Sydney!
I ended up going to bed at 9:00pm that is the earliest I have ever gone to bed without being sick and it felt soooooo good. I recommend it to everyone. It feels good to get 10 hours of sleep.
Have a great week everyone!

Birthday Fun

Thanks for coming to celebrate Sydney's birthday! We had fun and missed those who couldn't come. We went to the movies and shopping on Saturday. Saw HSM3 and bought a new winter coat. Sunday Sydney did not miss going to primary. We had a lovely dinner and played with cousins so thanks for coming.

Interview in North Dakota

Hey all! I will be flying out to Valley City, North Dakota during Thanksgiving week. I will probably meet with them on that Monday (the 24th). I have a couple other leads I am waiting on and I just keep plugging away. We plan on being down in Utah County with the Jones family for Thanksgiving this year. Hopefully we will have one more thing to be thankful for!! We are doing well up here in West Point.  We have been doing a little Fall cleaning...getting prepared for winter.

I believe this is post #99. Since we aren't even close to Christmas maybe we should up the prize to number 115. Let's hear and see what you all are up to for Thanksgiving, work, school, etc.

News from Rexburg

Hello Family!

Well I just wanted to tell you to look at my Halloween pictures on my blog if you haven't already. I loved seeing the pictures from the family Halloween party. It looked like a lot of fun and we are sad we missed out. But no fear we will be back home in December for a whole week of fun with the family!

As far as school goes...its just going along and we have about a month left! My internship has been going fairly well. I have helped to put an Arts Guide together, created a Kids R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out for Community Knowledge) booklet that was targeted for third graders that has activities in it to learn how our city government works and the different departments. Overall, I have been learning a lot of things about myself and how to communicate with others. I guess that is what an internship is all about.

Casey and I have also helped for the past two Saturday's with the Cube Cyclocross that the Rec. Dept. has put on. It's a bike race that has obstacles in it that make you get off you bike and carry it. So far people seem to be having fun. Tomorrow is the last race and we will be helping again.

Well I think that is about all for now!

Love, Julia & Casey
