Hello Family!
I just wanted to let you know that I have been working on my video podcast project and will have it up on my Web site www.teamcosper.com next week. You should all watch it because you are all in it. I am learning a lot in this Advanced Visual Media class. It is fun but stressful.

We are coming home this weekend which I am very excited about. Hopefully our car will make it (cross your fingers!)
Well Hello!! The Ryan's are good! We planted 6 trees in our backyard last Saturday! 2 little peach trees and a golden delicious apple tree. Two Autumn purple ash trees and 1 flowering Mullberry. I hope they dont die. I also wish I had done that when we first moved in we would have a fairly shady backyard by now. I'm quite pleased with myself since I dug 3 of the holes by myself. Matt keeps taking my camera otherwise I would have shown you all. Our ward campout is this weekend. Wish us luck. You all have a lovely day!

Pictures to share

We had a fun father's day celebration with Lindsay P. starting with a canasta game at Laura and Jerome's on Saturday night, a bar b que at the Ryan's on Sunday, calls from Dan and Julia, and visits from Nate's and Evan's families to top off our Sunday evening!!  We also had a blast watching Tiger win the US Open on Monday, although we were routing for the underdog, Rocko Mediate!  You are such a loving family and Dad and I love each of you and your children so much and appreciate each of your kindnesses to him (and me too!).
I had fun visiting Dan and Leesa and the kids on Friday before they took off for North Dakota.
I'll try to attach some recent pictures from various events...
Love,
Mom/Grandmama

Job hunting in North Dakota

We left West Point last night (Sunday) at 9:00 pm. and arrived at the Riskedahl ranch in North Dakota at 4:00 pm (Monday). It was a long drive but we are safe and sound. I have an interview with Benchmark Electronics (www.bench.com) and hopefully with Bobcat. I have a phone interview while I am here with a company in Utah, Overstock.com. Wish me luck and we will keep you all posted.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day all you wonderful fathers. We hope you felt special and appreciated on your special day. I gave Jerome an apron that says Caution: Extremely Hot. It's a Flirty Apron. So we had a BBQ.  He liked it. We got out of church at 4:00 and when we got home the girls had fallen asleep and everyone took a nap from 5:00 until 8:00 so we had a fun late dinner and went to bed at 10:30 what a crazy day. What did you all do for Father's Day?
By the way if anyone is interested next Sunday I'm singing a solo as part of a ward choir special number. Our sacrament meeting starts at 1:00. I'm excited to sing it feels like it's been awhile since I have done something like this.
Also, if anybody knows someone who would like to work from home but isn't, Women especially. This Tuesday night at the University Mall we are doing free Pizza and possibilities from 6:30-8:30 and we will be explaining the Marykay opportunity. Even if it's someone you don't think would do Mary kay but is looking for something to do from home. I will give them a free gift for coming. Please let me know and I can contact them and if they do decide Marykay is an opportunity they would like to try then I will give you a free gift too! Love you all

Dear Family-
I had a thought the other day that I thought that I would share with you. Since we are family I think it is important that we help each other out.  We all have talents and abilities and maybe we each know someone in our ward or "network" who could help another family member out. For example, I like to do layout and design, editing, computer stuff etc. I am learning how to use the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Photoshop.) Maybe one of you knows someone who needs some help in this area and could pay me to do some work. But not just me, other family members might need another job or some extra work and if we knew what they could do and knew someone in our ward that does that kind of work then we could make a connection. I just thought that I would throw this out because we could be helping out our own family members even more if we knew how we could and what connections could be made. Just some wise words from the youngest member of the family.

On another note...I made it through another week of school. That's a relief! Casey and I are doing dandy and we will be coming home in a week and then again on multiple weekends throughout the summer. Hope to see you then!

An update

I wanted to let you know about the cloth diapers. It is going really well. I haven't bought the hose that connects to the back of the toilet yet so I dunked a diaper today but other than that it hasn't been bad at all. I have really enjoyed it. Lyndsi actually asks for her new diapers. I got them online at Craiglist.com for 7.00 a piece they sell for 19.95 each at online stores. They are called fuzzibunz diapers. I think I might try a couple of other styles to see what is available for us. Kind of fun
I am in the process of getting a dry canner so a couple of my friends and I can store our wheat and beans. If any of you want to join in the fun we are trying to get it done in the next couple of days. Hopefully tomorrow.
Marykay is going great! So if you need anything let me know I'm making an order on Saturday go online to marykay.com/laurasouth to see all the new things. And Dorothy I still need to exchange your product for something else if you want.
Love you all

FYI June for the Ryan's

Well here is the Ryan update for June 2008. This month is pretty low key. The girls get to go to their first horse lessons of the summer on Friday. They get to do that on Friday mornings through the summer. They also must keep up with their piano which will start next Tuesday morning. We have the ward camp out at Granite Flats the 19th - 21st. Jack and Holly will be doing swimming lessons the week of the 23rd. Hopefully we will be going to the pool and a lot of playing with friends in between all of the other fun stuff. There is of course our activity days that we must do and go to for the girls and myself. It's going to be a great June!
