Volleyball

Well the girls had their volleyball tournament last night. Grandpapa came for the whole thing. Which by the way was from 4:00 until 9:00!!! I guess it must have been entertaining. But 5 hours of it. Thanks Dad!!! Grandmama came just in time for the last game of the last match. (she had gone to Markus's soccer game in Kaysville which they won Go Markus!!!) By the way the team came in third place out of 13. They got a certificate and a medal. It was fun to give an indoor sport a try. We shall see if they want to play again. Either way it was a lot of fun.

Oh I Hate computers?

Yes I hate technology some days. I should be listening to a conference talk, playing trains with Bry, vacuuming, painting the doors, writing a thank you note, or ironing , but no I am trying to figure out this blogging thing. I can't upload an image and a hornet is sitting next to me. Don't worry I kill at least 10 daily. I keep waiting for them to all die for the winter. If you want to see Jones Stuff look on our blog until I learn the..(sorry I just got up and ran around like an idiot cause the hornet is flying like a kamacazi ready to sting!) the picture up load process from Picasa. UEA Weekend

We took the kids and went to Matt's brother's house which is outside of Monticello. It is so out in the middle of nothing. The kids had so much fun. They have like 4 or 5 little kittens and 3 black labs. Holly was in animal heaven. Jack liked the kittens as well. Sydney did a little target shooting (that made me a little nervous but she had fun). It was a good time and it's good to be home. Oh yeah within the first hour we were there Jack fell from their second story down to the first story. He's just fine. A couple of bruises behind his ears and one on his side but nothing was broken. The first thing he said to his dad was "you need to build something right there so I don't fall." There kids are all older and the home is a work in progress and Jack got tangled up in a curtain and fell. When I asked him where is hurt he said "my whole body hurts". and then he proceeded to reenact the falling with sound affects. He can tell you next time you see him.

Not only are Dan and Leesa busy job hunting, canning, editing and publishing the ward cookbook, coupon shopping, being in charge of Super Saturday this Saturday, hosting both grandmothers for visits - but they also make sure to plan fun times for their family!  Here are Cassee and Emmee making Halloween cookies.  You can see that they have already decorated their house for the holiday!  I think Dan and Leesa really get into the spirit of what they do - see their green hair in the next picture...pretty spooky!  (Another one of Grandmama's amazing photos!)

Our Apartment!

Greetings from American Fork! Don't you think this is a classic picture of our home town?

I had so much fun on Mothers' Weekend with Julia and Casey! We ate, played Boggle until our minds were boggled, went to the temple, went to Wingers, visited Aunt LaDean and Uncle Ed, went to nursery, went to seminars where we got to hear Patti Epperson share her testimony.

My next stop was West Point where I got to enjoy some fun with Dan and Leesa, Emmee, Cassee, and Adam. Cassee loves jumping on the tramp!

The Cosper Cottage

I just wanted to post a picture of where we have been living. It's kind of small but it's our cute little cottage.

For those of you who may not have picked up the new nursery manual there is a little picture on the front page of Laura and Lyndsie. Who knew about that? Who took the picture? Just was surprised when I was looking through Matt's and there they were. How fun.

We're Moving!

I thought I'd give you a very quick update. We are moving the 20th Monday to a house in Lehi. North of Nate and Dorothy south of Micron. It is the house we put an offer on 3 weeks ago. It is a short sale meaning the bank is involved very involved which means a screamin deal for us.. It's all a miracle really. I still have lots of packing and arrangement making to do. So that is all for now.

First snow fall in West Point

Well, I guess we don't live in the "banana belt" of Utah.

Our Deck! What a surprise when we woke up. I wish I had a picture of Emmee and Cassee's faces when they saw all the snow.  Cassee pointed outside and said with an upset face, "Notty". I guess Mother Nature is in trouble with Cassee.

Dan Jones

Hey everyone!

We are selling our Pontiac Grand Prix 2008. If you know anyone who is in the market to buy a car we are looking to sell it for around $16,000. It is in excellent condition. My in-laws backed into us but we got the dent fixed so it looks good as new.
Other than that Jerome had a phone interview this morning. Last week he was contacted by Omniture again and another company to set up an interview. Thank you all for your prayers we know something wonderful will happen very soon.
I'm doing great and feeling great.
Funny moments
Lyndsi sneezed while she was eating chips and it went all over her hand. After she washed up she was laughing explaining what happened and said "I blessed-you and it went all over my hand."
If you haven't heard this one Hailey hurt her finger and I asked her if she wanted ice to help it feel better. She took the bag of ice and put it on her forhead instead of her finger. I guess Lyndsi has bumped her head to many times. She did stop crying.
When she gets hurt or things aren't going her way she walks around crying saying, "so sad, so sad."
We went to Wheeler farm and Brighton with Grandmama I will try and post pictures next time

Air Force or Bust!

Dear Family-

Well mom made me aware that I needed to update you on something that Casey and I have been researching. As many of you know Casey wants to be a pilot. In order to be a pilot you have to do it the expensive way or through the Air Force ROTC --> Air Force. We are still researching and checking out the possibilities but I thought that I would let you all know...so you aren't surprised or left out of the loop. Now you may have your own opinion about such things, but trust me we have been doing a lot of talking and thinking. So if you want any information about the Air Force stuff you can ask us because pretty soon we will be experts on the matter. hehe Well that is all for now. Also mom came to see us this weekend, but I will write about that later when I have pictures to post.

We are finalizing all the paper work/money on our house Oct. 24th so we may or maynot be at the big Halloween bash on the 25th. We love joining in on all the fun! We're just not sure yet if we are moving all of our stuff out the 25th or not.

Well the girls won their game today! Sydney figured out her serve. Holly is highly entertaining to watch. I'm glad this sport was played inside as it is raining today. Julia here is a picture.

Halloween Party!

As you may have noticed we added an event on the calendar. Leesa wants
to invite everyone up to our house in West Point for a Halloween Party
on October 25. The party will start at 2:00 pm and end when the last
person goes home. We will be eating a nacho dinner at 5:00. Please
call Leesa for food assignments if you are coming. As usual this will
be a fantastic party. Everyone come dressed and ready for some fun.

Oh I love the new background

Dorothy I love the new background it is awesome. 

I'm thinking for Hailey 2nd birthday and my 29th birthday we will get together Saturday between 4-6pm and have a BBQ we have a bunch of hamburger buns and hotdog buns so if you want to bring your own meat and something to share that would be great or just come for cake and icecream. It will be really low key and fun. If you can't come because of a previous engagement I'm sure we will still have some cake and ice cream left for Sunday if you want to come over Sunday evening.
