A new year- what are you up to?
With a new baby and the cold weather I feel like I have been hybernating. I saw most of you this weekend because the girls are delivering their girl scout cookies but I didn't get to stay and visit. What in the world is everyone up to these days?
I'm working at kids on the move.
Lyndsi is in "up with kids" an acting group they will be performing in may at af high school it has been soo fun for her.
Hailey is loving kindergarten. Her teacher tells me she is wonderful in class. She loves girl scouts.
Chad goes to preschool and I signed him up for spring soccer. He is really excited about that.
Quinn is the happiest little baby he is 3 months old and he has been sleeping through the night for 3 weeks. It makes me so happy. The kids all love making him smile.
We still have our cats the kids love to cuddle with them at night.
The funniest thing we've done this year is go to the living planet aquarium for chads birthday. The kids loved it. The penguins and the otters and the octopus eating a mister potato head. The glow in the dark scorpions. We had. Great time.

New job
I'm sure you all have heard by now that Jerome is going to work at Adobe starting September 10th we are very excited! My pregnancy is going well too. I have become lactose intolerant and I'm trying to stay away from sugars I feel really nauseous after I eat certain sugary foods. I have a feeling this baby is going to come a little early I might have a thanksgiving baby. Lyndsi loves her teacher. Hailey had a great first week in kindergarten. Chad starts preschool this week. Life is exciting.

Happy Easter!
Tonight I got to experience "Savior of the World" again, thanks to Sarah and many of her friends and fellow cast members (Brynley, too!) who gave of their talents for the dear people who live at River Meadows. It was a perfect Easter event. I love our Savior and am so thankful for his birth, atonement, and resurrection and the wonderful gift of families. I love you, each and every one!
Grandpapa and I are going to California for Easter. We will be with Judy, Norman, and our Peterson family as we remember Uncle Jim, who passed on last week.
Congratulations to Laura who just got a new job at KOTM as a Family Educator which means she will be home visiting and working with families in their homes rather than with their children in child care. She will do a great job!
Good luck to Sydney on the driving test! She and Holly and Matthew are on the track team and running hard! I'll forward some great pictures Leesa sent me of Matthew giving it his all! Markus is on the soccer team at Lehi High and doing great! Hooray for all of our wonderful grandchildren and their good choices, healthy attitudes, and happy lives. You are each terrific in your own special ways and Grandpapa and I love you so much. xo Grandmama

New updates from the South
Dad has been on my back about updating my post.
I don't work at the AF Jr High I think every knows now that I work at Kids on the Move. I'm an Early Head Start Child Care Teacher serving low income families and I totally love it. My Spanish is better than it has ever been--at least I know more vocabulary. I love the people I work with and Chad gets to come with me until February so that is all very fun.
Some of you know already that Jerome was sick with some kind of Flu over the holidays well then he got cellulitis, a type of staph infection, (I think I spelled that right). I actually think it was on Saturday night when I got home he was commenting on how his wrist was feeling sore. He still had a fever and chills and just not feeling good. Sunday his wrist was feeling worse, Monday his wrist was swelling up and it started swelling into his fingers and down his arm a little. Tuesday his arm was swollen to his elbow and we decided to go to the doctor. Well he got a big shot and big horse pills to take and set up an appointment to go in again on Wednesday around 2:30. The doctor also drew on Jerome and marked where the redness and swelling was so we could see the progress or lack thereof. Wednesday morning I was almost ready to go to work but decided to take a look at Jerome's arm and it was swollen half way up his upper arm and over his entire elbow and no kidding his left leg was swollen all around his ankle and up his calf. So we rescheduled the appointment got in to see the doctor at 11:00 and were admitted to the hostpital by 12:00. Jerome is resting tonight and will have to stay tomorrow night also. The type of infection he has is resistent to the antibiotics they gave him yesterday and today so they are going to try something new tonight and tomorrow and hopefully it will work a little better because it had grown another inch in his arm and even more in his leg while we were at the hospital. Totally bizarre and random and a crazy way to the end the year. Thanks for praying for us and I will post again when this is all over.

Baby #5 is on it's way. It will be here by the first part of July in 2012!

Got a new job
Just wanted to let you all know that I got a job at the American Fork Jr. High. I'm excited about the hours and experience I will get. I'm a teacher's aid for the Life Skills class for children with disabilities. It will be a good challenge for me. I start August 22nd.
I am also going to commit to my MaryKay business more so if anyone needs anything just let me know. (Leesa I can mail you the eyeliner if you want it still)
If Sydney wants to do a mom and daughter party I can do tips and tricks for make up application :)
